Learn How to Make a Mossy Marshmallow Pop or Cakepop Stand

Cake pops and marshmallow pops need to stand up right when drying. You can buy a commercial cake pop stand or follow Bella Cupcake Couture’s easy tips on crafting a customized stand for your party.

For our theme we chose to decorate the marshmallow pop stand with moss that we bought at Joann fabrics (approximately $4).

How-To Steps:

1. Use a piece of Styrofoam and cut to the size that you'd like to fit into a plate or tray for your display.

2. Begin to use glue on a section of the styrofoam and add pieces of moss to the top and side of the styrofoam block. Continue until all of the Styrofoam is covered completely.

3. Insert wooden skewers into the styrofoam block . Make sure to allow space between each marshmallow pop so that they will not stick together when drying. Cut skewers down to the size for holding the marshmallow pops/cake pops with paper straws as holders. They slip nicely over the top of the skewers, creating a colorful and festive display.
